Well, in this crazy, dog-eat-dog world we live in I honestly believe that we all need to help each other and if I like something I want people to know it.On Lulu.com and a couple on Amazon.com now any read who enjoys action/thrillers or military themed books will just love the books by Roger Cave. Hello

Hello to all Book Bloggers! I'm Sierra(pen name) and am still figuring out blogs. While I can write a novel I find it hard to blog.I'm an avid reader who started reading romances with Nora Roberts and expanded to various other authors. I also read action titles like Don Pendleton's works, Keith Douglass's books and more. These days I've been working the self-publishing angle by finding Lulu.com and Createspace and have Celtic Evil in various sizes from both. In fact, Celtic Evil in the 8x10…See More

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Hi Sierra, I am wondering if you can make any suggestions on how to find an agent for my book. I know it needs some polishing, but I also know it will be a best-seller as it is a very timely piece and there is almost nothing out there on the subject. I have an agency practically begging to work with me but Writers Beware says that they get you to spend hundreds on THEIR editors and are not very well connected. PLUS, they have changed their names several times. I want an agent that can get me published with Vantage or Knopf or Random!

Hi Sierra

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com, and I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to read it and post your thoughts on your blog (or on Amazon.com, or on some of the other book-related sites). If you're interested, I'd be more than willing to send you an e-book version by e-mail. Just let me know. I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:

Thanks so much,
Chris
