Southern Book Bloggers

We may not live there now, or we may be moving away (sniff), but we all know that Southern literature, and the people who inspire it, have something different from the rest of America.

An excerpt from Chapter Four of my novel "Mahogany Slade"  That Sunday I had dedicated to studying, although my classes weren’t nearly challenging enough to warrant a full day’s devotion, and by early afternoon, my history, journalism, and political science textbooks all lay on my desk, stacked neatly on top of each other, as I read Giovanni’s Room.Shortly after 1, I heard a knock that I recognized as the opening strains of the overture to the Chicago musical. I knew this because someone had…See More

Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.

It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.

The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.

I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.

My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.

kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Hi, My name is anita buice and I'm new to Book Blogs.  I would love to follow your work and if you'd send me a link to anitawbuice@gmail.com, I will.  My site is anitabook.com as in "I need a book."  I would LOVE for you to check it out and if you like it get ready to send me some books to review.  My address is anita buice, 202 Richards Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.  Then just look for the review on anitabook.com.  If you could send multiple books I would use them for giveaways to promote your work and my site.  I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for the time and effort that it takes to make this happen. Blessings, anita of anitabook.com

Hey, Stephen!  Welcome to Book Blogs!  Good luck with your work in progress.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  If you're looking for support from writers, you can't go wrong with http://iwritenetworkning.ning.com/.  It's small and intimate and like a family over there, right down to chatting and comparing notes while we work.

As for me, I'm a writer that spends most of my time reading and blogging book reviews, etc.  I also help out fellow writers with beta reading, critiques, etc., just because.  It's great practice, builds friendships, hones my own craft, and is just plain good karma.  So, you can check out my blog any time you like and just holler if there is anything I can do for you.  (This goes for any other writers reading this as well).
