Suneeta Misra has not received any gifts yet

I might be completely wrong here but my sense is that it is harder to break the glass ceiling of publishing success if you write young adult, mystery, thriller or romance novels which feature diverse writing styles and brown, black or Asian characters. I admit that there are writers like Toni Morrison, Langston Hughes R. K. Narayan, Kiran Desai, Amy Tan, Lisa See, and Yoko Agawa who have created memorable non-white characters and have gained much international repute. There are also…

If you follow me, please let me know. I always follow back.

Hello Suneeta, I know Gaithersburg well. I lived in that area for many years. Your blog brings up a good point and in my opinion it depends on the book. If it is a great book it will eventually break that glass ceiling.
I have forged many friendships here with bloggers, avid readers and prolific writers. We help each other out and have a great time while we do so; I am an author who enjoys History and cross-promoting.
If you get a chance please check out Barnes and Noble or AMAZON It is a well-documented factual pre-World War II event with a twist of fiction and a touch of the paranormal.

Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.
My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.
It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.
The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.
My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.
kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Welcome to Book Blogs! I am an author of middle reader fantasies (Random House) and medical reference guides. (Odd combo, I know.) I maintain a how-to blog for aspiring writers on every aspect of publishing: how to find an agent, how to work with an editor, self publishing, how to promote and market your work, and so on. (The topics are endless.) View it here:

My second blog is about treating CFS/ME (aka chronic fatigue syndrome)
