- I'm a passionate reader and writer, and an American expatrirate living in Japan. I've written a novel, a picture book, and edited three anthologies. I'm the fiction editor for the online journal literarymama.com. I love read reading multicultural novels, short story collections and narrative nonfiction. I also love to read books set in South Carolina, where I am most recently from. As the mother of a deaf child with cerebral palsy, I have a special interest in disability issues.
