TO POST YOUR ARCHIVES OR NOT TO POST HOW BENEFICIAL ARE THEY??

I was wondering how beneficial it truly is to have the Archive widget posted on the sidebar of your blog. To me it just takes up space and if you already have the labels widget on your sidebar do you really need the archives as well? I know I never click on the archives for the blogs I follow. Are they important to have or are they unecessary and just take up space? I'm curious to know what everyone thinks. …See More

About Me:
Hi everyone, my name is Taylor and I am a historical fiction fanatic! I live in Oklahoma with my two favorite boys; my maincoon Tyson and my dog Brady. I'm currently working on getting into nursing school. I hope to one day become an RN and specialize in premature infants. I would do something that pertains to history, but unfortunately I have to pay the bills. My passions in life are animals, history and reading, therefore, my favorite books are historical fiction. I have a monstrous book collection! I guess you could say books are like a drug to me. I absolutely love reading books and then writing my own review of the book. My way of writing reviews is different than most. I don’t write a full on summary of the book because I feel it gives away too much of the book and it ruins it for someone who may wish to read it one day. What I do is write my opinion of the book, whether I liked it or not, and some key points of the book just enough to get someone interested. I will also suggest who I think would be interested in that particular book and then I'll give my own personal rating.
If you would like me to review your book I would be more than glad to as long as it is classified as: historical fiction, fiction, non-fiction (history), paranormal, mystery, thriller, or romance. Please no self help books, children’s books or e books. If you are an author and would like me to review your book you may contact me at: taylor.k.ward@okstate.edu. Also if you send me your book I will post it on my blog and also write a review on librarything.com.

Hello Taylor,

My book Sacred Ground & Holy Water: Travel Tales of Enlightenment is published tomorrow. Take a look at what the reviewers are saying and pass it along to anyone you think should know about this release.

"Gonzo razzle-dazzle verbal fireworks!"
Robert Martin, Editor of Canada's The Dalhousie Review

"Pacey, witty insightful stuff. Travel writing as it should be!"
Jack Barker, Editor of Britain's Travelmag

"Grips you, holds you, and leaves you with something profound!"
Chris Ord, Editor of Australia's Travel Rag

"An ideal traveling companion who brings lingual acuity, historical perspective, and razor-sharp irony along for the ride."
Tom Dooley, Editor of America's Eclectica Literary Journal

"Funny, literary, and hard-hitting. Professor Fuchs combines the humor of Twain, the alpha adventure of Hemingway, and the romantic sensitivity of Steinbeck. Just wish I was the one publishing it."
John Kemmerly, Editor of Bluefoot publishing

"No one since Hunter S. Thompson has loved the wild and woolly world with as much intensity, insight, passion and gusto as Lyn Fuchs in his new collection of travel writing Sacred Ground & Holy Water: Travel Tales of Enlightenment. From Africa, Central America, India, the Pacific Northwest, and back again, Lyn's rambunctious dispatches from the far corners of our strange globe arrive with the full force of whitewater plunging from mountains, lava burning the very soles from our hiking boots. So delicious are the bountiful meals he eats, so beautiful the foreign lasses he dallies with, nothing is left for the reader but a searing jealousy, an aching desire to be out there ourselves. Thompson, rest his soul, would be proud."
Tony D'Souza, Author of Whiteman, The Konkans, and Mule
