- I am the author and co-author of 3 Civil War History Books, the Twenty-Seventh Louisiana Volunteer Infantry, The Fourth Louisiana Battalion in the Civil War and Ship Island, Mississippi-Rosters and History of the Civil War Prison. I am happily married to my true love, Theresa and we have a beautiful granddaughter, who will be ten this year. I love to read history books, political books and military history books, as well as, travel with my wife and visit historical sites.
