Who am I?

Hi - My name is Tina 'the book lady' . You'll find me online pretty much all the time - I don't have kids unless you count my Children's Bookstore which is online and in my car trunk.

I have been blogging for about 2 years and am the proud owner of 2 blogs:

  1. Classic Children's Books is for kids 0-15'ish - CCB is dedicated to encouraging strong family relationships through reading and playing together. My blog is focused on High Quality Children's books, educational materials, music, toys and games. I love to encourage families in all stages to read together aloud - Dad read to your kids while they are washing dishes! It's the perfect time while they are chained to the sink! LOL
  2. GivingNSharing is for adults 16'ish and up. You'll find all kinds of reviews on this blog - books, book tours, announcements, a little cooking, some product reviews, and more! You'll also find a Ongoing Giveaway Linky here.
I also have a page on Facebook called Tina's Reading Room - you can link up any family friendly book reviews & giveaways, book trailers, book announcements, etc - Click here

Would love to have some visits - be sure to leave me a comment if you follow me so I can follow you back. Thanks! Tina 'the book lady'

Hello Book Lady, my name is Larry Rodness and I am inquiring about receiving a review on my newest YA novel entitled, "Perverse", published by Itoh Press in both print and electronic formats. Synopsis as follows:

19 year old Emylene Stipe is a 2nd generation Goth who, like every teenage girl, is trying to find her place in the world. One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends. But Poinsettia has an ulterior motive for her sudden and strange intrusion into her host's life which causes Emylene to question her whole belief system.
If there is interest I can forward an E Pub or PDF.

Hi, I wanted to greet you as I just joined the website.  I have recently published a FREE (donation based) eBook and I would be thrilled if you included a review on your site.  Here is a ditty about it:

The generous seas do roam vividly,

And sacred words spoken earnestly.

People suffer and people go to war,

I just hope these words will go afar.

On 26-4-2013 I published a FREE book,

Indeed a feat of altruism, no crook!

I suffer in silence in every moment.

I have no money to publish a stunt.

I was just hoping for word-of-mouth

And email propagation as loudmouth.

Book is at: http://bookbooster.com/newage.htm

I accept feedback just at: percarus@hotmail.com

Hello Tine,

I just read your message. I didn’t realise you had a children’s bookstore – I have one too at  www.marchhousebooks.com and I blog at http://marchhousebookscom.blogspot.com/

Your Classic Children's Books store is so pretty I was going to follow with GFC but can’t find the box to click on. When I go to your familyliteracyandyoublog I get a message that reads; This blog is open to invited readers only - so I'm not having much luck with following. Barbara

Hi Tina, and yes FMS does affect my brain. When I am tired I can't even get my own family's name out of my mouth. I usually just say, "I don't want to talk anymore tonight." My husband isn't very patient with that particular symptom. He thinks if I just slow down and think before speaking I won't have any trouble. There are days I could stand there and look at my puppy for an hour and I still wouldn't be able to put a name to her.

Hi Tina, Thanks for your comment! I am noting your blog address and will check it out!

I will send an update once my book is released, should only be a few months now. The waiting is SO hard :)

Thanks Tina!

We opened the promotion up to bloggers first - we'll start posting the blogger's lists on Monday on the Happy Haulidays site, and then every day or so as new bloggers join in.

Thanks!
