AND THE BEAT GOES ON
ISBN - 978-1-60693-199-8
Canadian born archeologist Mark Graham unearths a remarkable discovery while at a dig in the mountains of Zimbabwe – pterodactyl remains and giant human bones buried together. Speculation leads to the possible existence of a mythical race known as ‘Nephilim’, a pre-flood people alleged to have descended from both gods and men.
But skepticism and sabotage delay Mark and his team as the dig site is compromised, putting their discovery – as well as his very life – in grave danger. Deceived and framed by trusted friends and colleagues, Mark struggles to safeguard his findings and protect his reputation in order to unearth the mystery behind the Nephilim.
MY MOTHER THE MAN-EATER
ISBN - 978-1-60976-585-9
Loaded with humor, action, intrigue and romance, My Mother the Man- Eater is the exciting story of a woman whose search for meaning in life finds an unexpected outlet. Joleen Allen is on the hunt for a man. Unfortunately, every time the mother of five meets one, he falls for one of her daughters instead! At forty-four, Joleen has lived a tough life. She became a mother at 16, and her five daughters are now grown. Her ex-husband, Harold, is out of prison and back in the picture, looking for revenge. He’ll stop at nothing – even murder – to ruin Joleen’s reputation as well as her relationship with their daughters. My Mother the Man-Eater makes for some truly tempting and redemptive reading.
Sparks fly when an ex rock and roll junkie and a stuffy accountant rendezvous at a local resort, but neither are prepared for the emotional entanglements, family complications, and a threat from the past that unexpectedly resurfaces. Set in the 1980′s, this story brings two opposing forces together in a clash of romance and danger, while its musical undertones highlight the theme that God can turn anything into beautiful music.
PLAY IT AGAIN is the much anticipated prequel to Tracy’s debut novel AND THE BEAT GOES ON. Find out where Mark Graham’s journey began in this, the story of his parents.
Marshdale. Just a small farming community where nothing special happens. A perfect place to start over… or get lost. There is definitely more to this prairie town than meets the eye. Once the meeting place of aboriginal tribes for miles around, some say the land itself was cursed because of the people’s sin. But its history goes farther back than even indigenous oral history can trace and there is still a direct descendant who has been handed the truth, like it or not. Exactly what ties does the land have to the medicine of the ancients? Is it cursed, or is it all superstition?
Wind Over Marshdale is the story of the struggles within a small prairie town when hidden evil and ancient medicine resurface. Caught in the crossfire, new teacher Rachel Bosworth finds herself in love with two men at once. First, there is Thomas Lone Wolf, a Cree man whose blood lines run back to the days of ancient medicine but who has chosen to live as a Christian and faces prejudice from every side as he tries to expose the truth. Then there is Con McKinley, local farmer who has to face some demons of his own. Add to the mix a wayward minister seeking anonymity in the obscurity of the town; eccentric twin sisters – one heavily involved in the occult and the other a fundamentalist zealot; and a host of other ‘characters’ whose lives weave together unexpectedly for the final climax. This suspenseful story is one of human frailty - prejudice, cowardice, jealousy, and greed – magnified by powerful spiritual forces that have remained hidden for centuries, only to be broken in triumph by grace.
(Wind Over Marshdale Book 2)
Thomas Lone Wolf has recovered from a brush with death – and from a broken heart. His work of opening a First Nations cultural center at an archaeological site near the town of Marshdale is almost complete. Once his son graduates from high school, he and his daughter will have to move on to the next project. Just when he has resigned himself to being a single dad for the rest of his life, he meets a woman who seems perfect. But can his wounded heart take a chance on love again?
COLONY ZERO - Volume 1 Contact
In 2810, they’re called Zeroes. Some Zeroes are born, somehow slipping through the genetic screening and purification tests in utero mandated by an overpopulated Earth. Others become Zeroes later, the worst murderers and thieves and abusers, despite the same genetic screening. Whether born or made, they are Earth’s outcasts, the dregs, sent to a perpetually dark rock orbiting a Y-class brown dwarf star by a society without the patience or desire to deal with them.
Fear and confusion are mounting on Colony Zero since the arrival of the Earth ship Valkyrie 2. Renata, chief spiritual leader, has her hands full trying to keep the citizens calm. Her own son is not making life any easier with his radical disregard for their way of life. Then she discovers that a potentially dangerous secret could not only threaten to destroy their utopian way of life, but the very existence of the planet.
Two years after a terrible natural disaster, the residents of Colony Zero are still reeling from the horrific death toll, injuries, and lack of supplies. Spiritual leader Renata has had to put personal difficulties aside while trying to maintain calm among the remaining colonists. She finds an unlikely kindred spirit in Lt. Matschke, an idealist young officer who has arrived with the Relocation Ministry convoy that has returned with its own agenda and has offered a partial solution. But before the compromise can be carried out, another insidious force from the past rises up to jeopardize all that they have worked for.

Ronnie Ingels and Dawson Hughes team up again in Deadly Designs, the sequel to Harmful Intent by Nike Chillemi. This time, international intrigue and religious radicals are part of the mix when the pair is called in to investigate the kidnapping of a seven year old girl. The story has a ‘007’ flavor since they are backed by a wealthy espionage expert. It is definitely a pageturner, and although I enjoyed meeting the characters again it is not necessary to read…Continue

If I could only choose one word to describe Ann Lee Miller’s Chasing Happy, I would have to say ‘Monumental’. Homosexuality, especially within the context of the Christian community, is confronted head on. Instead of judgment or pat answers, readers come away with a deeper understanding of the inner struggles faced by real people – even Christians – who are struggling to make peace with God. I appreciated the sensitivity with which she writes from the point of view of someone who…Continue

The Reluctant Caregiver by Bobbi Junior is a sensitive, true account of the struggles faced when dealing with an aging parent. Confusion, anger and misplaced accusations characterize her mother’s increasing dementia, compounded by a less than ideal relationship and a past riddled with pain. With gentleness and sensitivity, Bobbi describes their journey into uncharted emotional and psychological waters. Above all, this is a book about relying on God’s grace and guidance. It is a…Continue

I want to give this one six stars, not five. That’s how much I enjoyed reading it. Descended Aaro is book three in the series by Dana Pratola and I must say the entire series is growing on me more and more. In fact, after reading ‘Aaro’ I had to go back and re-read the first two books – ‘Jett’ and ‘Sebastian’. Having done so, I’d officially call myself a fan and can’t wait for the fourth (and presumably the last) book.
Aaro is probably the most likeable ‘superhero’ in…Continue
