Hi Vera, my new novel COMPROMISED is coming up and I am requesting that you review it if you find the following synopsis captivating.

Three cops respond to anonymous midnight call about an accident on Huntington road, Los Angeles. They stumble upon a decomposed body abandoned in a van, only for the FBI to figure out later has been infected with the dreaded, lethal Ebola virus. By the next morning, the three cops, their wives as well as over 900 Los Angeles residents are reported dead and many more infected. The President now faces an upsurge of rebellion in cabinet when some of the secretaries think that he is not dealing with the dire crisis accordingly because a controversial maudlin recording of his conversation with his Press Secretary has leaked from the White House to the internet and press. Obviously, the White House is compromised and he has to root out the mole before further sabotage is done.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Al Keith’s, investigation is severely compromised when all the leads start getting terminated before he gets to them to extract vital information on the terrorists who poses the only antidote for the killer disease. It gets even worse when the FBI catch one of the masterminds Evan Theodore. Unexpectedly, Al’s deputy Lorne Meagan sets Evan free before the FBI can interrogate him. Al discovers that it’s not only Lorne who is compromised, but many of his fellow agents have been coerced by having their families threatened. Never the less, the pressure on the President is piling and he expects Al to find the terrorists which is the only way of acquiring the antidote, preventing further deaths and salvaging his presidency.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Hi Vera

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com, and I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to read it and post your thoughts on your blog (or on Amazon.com, or on some of the other book-related sites). If you're interested, I'd be more than willing to send you an e-book version by e-mail. Just let me know. I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:

Thanks so much,
Chris
