- I've been a writer since I could hold pen to paper, which is a lot longer than I care to admit. Not to mention I'm a total bookworm. Originally from South Africa and raised in Canada, I live in Kenya with my husband, our two children and an assortment of animals with varying degrees of wildness. When I'm not reading, writing or daydreaming, I pretend to work as an environmental consultant. I often wish I could float through walls, and that's probably why I'm currently fixated on ghosts. My work background is in engineering and environmental management.
