Online Fiction Writers' Death Matches

If Darwin and Hemingway were to meet over beers, this is the Group they'd settle on. PatronQuo.com Presents: A Knock-down, ego-crushing battle for survival among the literary-minded - and you're invited to join in the fray.

Profile Information

Favorite Book
Pigeon Post by Arthur Ransome (but I have way more than one)
About Me:
I'm a writer. I've written 10 novels published in both Canada and the USA by traditional publishers and translated by many foreign publishers into more than a dozen languages.
But I'm a person first; a reader second; and my life as a writer does not mean that I am nothing but a bunch of books stuck together with head, legs and arms added. I would ask you please to read my first blog post (Once Upon A Time: it's in August) on http:welwynsworld.blogspot.com
so that you can see I'm not here just to promote myself. I would like to join your group very much, but I don't want to have people view every post I make with suspicion, looking for the self-promotion. I am very bad at self-promotion, actually. Lisa (of bookworms) has suggested this. I'm new on Goodreads but I do have an author profile. Thank you.

Welwyn, thanks for the comment. BookBlogs is just a place for book bloggers to network with other writers and literary bloggers. Stay with it. The members here are great, and the site is particularly open-ended for those who want to use it to aggressively network.

On your end, if you'd like to have a presence on PatronQuo.com, to tell our many visitors about your blog, then check out the offer on the Friends and Supporters of PatronQuo.com group. If you review a literary match bout on our site, and then send us a message as to where the link to your review can be found, we'll grant you a $10 patron credit that you can apply to the writer of the tale of your choice on PatronQuo.com. In turn, you'll enter our patron rankings, and we will blog about your review entry. Regards!
