I've thought some more about what you said (and actually looked up "disingenuous") and have to admit that you were right. It rankled that someone didn't love my blog enough to make that extra click to read it the way I wanted it to be read, and it wasn't so much that I thought it was an uncalled for comment from the reader, but that I would have preferred to be left in ignorant bliss about the shortcomings of my blog. If I lost that reader (and I probably already have), then I deserved it.
