Joseph J. Breunig 3rd Poem: The Dark Heretic

In diligent search of God was the dark heretic, a master of the natural world and our father of modern physics. In the study of Divine Prophesy, Newton poured incessantly over The Word, convinced that his Doomsday calculatio… Continue

Petty Witter. MR TIMOTHY by Louis Bayard.

An interesting idea and one I couldn't resist - Tiny Tim (of a A Christmas Carol fame) is now 21, not so tiny and minus his crutches. Very Dickens's in tone, I really enjoyed this book but more because of the nostalgia and wonderful characters then for the story itself. A nice sub-plot was the inclusion of the letters sent by Mr Timothy to his dead father - heart-warming, they brought a lump to the throat. MY RATING: 3 out of a possible 5. Continue

Petty Witter. TEMPTING EVIL by Keri Arthur.

An enjoyable enough read but I think I could have benefittedfrom reading the first two books in the series first. Undoubtedly full of action, there were some wonderful creatures involved which captured my imagination but I didn't think the book was very well written, I couldn't connect with any of the characters and there was far too much sex and swearing for my liking. MY RATING: 2 out of a possible 5. Continue
