Is plastic surgery for you?

Fabulous Faces by Peter A. Adamson, M.D.

Fabulous faces all around,

How can I blend in?

I’m unhappy with the way I look,

And the state I’m in.

I’ve felt like this a long, long time,

I need to change my looks,

I’ve done my research, searched my soul,

Exhausted many books.

I’ve asked tough questions, thought them through,

Counseled with the best,

Found my doctor skilled and smart,

He…

Hi Eveyone.

Funny (and possibly drunk) Story:

One very, very late and stormy night (last night) I was downing a large glass of a Tawny port, researching methods for promoting my new eBook, Legacy of a King, when I came across this site which seemed to have a lot of individuals posting that they review books for free.…

I am a first time author and I have written a book about my own personal experience. My direct web page -http://chipmunkapublishing.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1822

Through the writing my book, I have found the strength and hope to come back from a very dark place. My greatest wish would be to impart that message to others. We can all achieve that. There… Continue

A little stuck… can you help?

I’m trying to find the right actor to ‘play’ Rumal. Rumal was originally inspired by my friend Sandra’s (Kassie) ex boyfriend. A lovely six foot+ African American gentleman. As my friend (in the book as well as real life) is only just five foot I just loved the idea of the contrast between those two so that’s how Rumal was originally inspired. But I haven’t been able to find the right actor yet! So I’ll describe more about Rumal and who he is and if…

BOOK REVIEW

Mark Batterson Soul Print Discover your divine destiny

Why do we know more about others than we do about ourselves?

In our journey in life we need to reevaluate ourselves and dig deep into our inner child and discover what is most important to us. Do we seek to people please or God please?

Growing up we learned how to impress our parents by getting good grades or performing well - being good and not bad. It was important to "be on our best behavior in… Continue

What makes a good blog?

It’s interesting how we all write differently and our blogs are so different from each other. I follow a lot of blogs and my typical blog round every two days or so is about 50 blogs. And on each blog, you see a different topic, a different style of… Continue

Navigating Blook Blogs

As a new member of the Book Blog Community I am trying to figure out how all the connections work together along with the goal of the site itself. If you could answer a few of the quesitons below it would be extremely helpful!

  1. How do you select people to friend? Is there a strategy?
  2. Do you have an outside blog?
  3. Is the outside blog monetized?
  4. Do you post on the blog here and what is the reason?
  5. Who is the reader of the Book Blog…

A Mother's Instinct

I don’t have medical training of any kind. I am only a mom. But I can diagnose most any ailment my children have.

My youngest daughter, Emerson, who turned 5 a week ago, received a fever and cold for a belated birthday present.  It started last Wednesday during breakfast when she crumpled into a tear soaked meltdown over nothing, which my easy-going child never does. I felt her forehead. Without even pulling out the thermometer, I knew it was a fever. We stayed in from school and…
