A Royal Elf of Abalon by Anna del C. Dye

This is the fifth book in my Elf series. It is a stand-alone book as are all the books in this series. I was drawn to write about elfs after I read The Lord of the Rings. What a marvelous piece of art that is. No, I really don’t claim that my books are anything like the masterpiece(s) that Tolkien created. What I do know is that there are many Elf lovers who are starving like me for more clean elfin lore. It is to them I dedicate my work.

Poem: Lord, You Are...

Lord, You are my strength,

whenever I'm completely weak.

You are the spiritual delight

in Whom I only seek.



Lord, You are my morning light

that's shining above the mountain peaks.

You are my hungering desire -

For each day of every week.



Lord, You are my vigilant Father

over earthly trials through which I eke.

Please keep me mindful of Your Word,

so my attitude remains... humble and meek.

Poem: Cleanse Me Lord

Oh, my Lord...



Once again I'm dirty with sin.

I need to cleanse my fallen mind

with the beauty of your Word.



My desire is turned towards You -

Yet my flesh remains weak,

reflecting a lack of discipline.



Please chastise me, your child

and spare not your rod of correction.

Cover me with your forgiveness and grace

as I begin anew each day, trying to mature.



Oh, my Lord... please cleanse me.
