Laying Low In Paradise by Kristy K. James
She is the author of Reluctant Guardian, A Fine Mess, and The Stranger in my Head.
For those who love Cinderella stories, this book would be for you.
A very good romance story that you could read in a day leaving you relaxed and entertained till the last page. In my opinion the money spend to buy the book worth it.

My third novel comes out soon, it's called, In Case of Death.
I came up with the title over a year ago, thinking it was very classy and very pertinent to my story line.
Little did I know how personal the title would become to me...
You see, one of my sons took his life…

Hi everyone. Happy Friday! What are your weekend plans? If the hiking boots I ordered arrive, I’ll be going hiking, probably on Sunday. I’ll probably be power-walking on Saturday, because the weather has just been so nice and I’ve been really enjoying my power-walks. I reached my goal of a 15-minute mile! My usual walk is 1.9 miles. I’m thinking of taking the long route back home, instead of taking a side street, to make it two miles. At least I think it will be two miles; I’ll have to…

If you are an American planning a visit to Paris, or an Australian, or Brit or Kiwi . . . you get the picture; then this book really is worth a read. Even if you just want an inside view, a feel for Paris as a virtual visitor to that beautiful city, then this is a very rewarding read.

Michael Brookes is an Executive Producer with a leading UK games developer. Working in games and writing are two of his life passions and he considers himself fortunate to be able to indulge in them both. He lives in the east of England, enjoying starry skies in the flattest part of the country. When not working or writing he can sometimes be found sleeping, which is good, as that is where many good ideas come from.

It’s time for an update. I’m excited to write this post, mostly because I’m in the mood to write, but also because I’m happy to share my accomplishments in my health.
I mentioned in my last post that I wasn’t losing any weight. And that was true. Since October 11th (almost 3 months), I hadn’t lost any weight and actually gained one pound from all the strength training I’ve been doing. BUT, I have GREAT news! I weighed in yesterday for a weight loss challenge group I’m in and the scale…

Taking the leap
Here I go! I just spent the most ever on a huge promotion blitz for SILENT INVASION and DROP OUT (my two best sellers). I did it through blogads.com. I’ve read other posts about the effectiveness of such ads and most said that author’s sales increased because of them. I booked on nine different sites with a combined reach of 312,000 avid readers. These are people who actively read the blogs. My ads will feature the cover, a blurb, and the link to buy the book. The blitz will run on…

A week not writing
My latest novel is off to my formatter and should be ready for sale in a few days. I’m ready to go with publicizing it once it is live and plan on doing all that right after Christmas. It’s been nearly a full week that I haven’t written any new fiction material. That doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing (I wrote the back jacket copy for IMAGINATION and I am posting this blog) just not doing the kind of writing I love most. Though I have been marketing and will continue to reserve…
