Sorry I haven't written anything =[

I apologies, I always start blogs and then never do anything with them.

I want to thank you all for checking out my page and I will look into all of your links. I love supporting fellow authors and book lovers.

To George D. Melvin is out for soft sale. It’s available only on Amazon.com. I’m not happy with the cover, but I don’t have any better ideas at the moment, so it will stay until I am ready to change it, which could be a while.

But I am happy with…

One Word

I've been using the word release to write a blog post a day—actually started early January. Last year I wrote a blog post everyday, but there wasn't any connection save the desire to write every day.

This year my connecting link is one word—amazing the places one word will take you—unexpected places.

You can check out the posts at Marginalia. Scroll back and read the earlier posts to get an idea…

Book Review: Becoming: The Life & Musings of a Girl Poet, by Nadia Janice Brown

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of poems by Nadia Janice Brown. They are spiritual, inspirational and full of ‘writer’ sensibility, which I love. The tone is ‘quiet,’ making this little collection perfect for your night table, to be read before bedtime.

Brown’s pen touches upon various subjects: God, the…

Tête-à-tête with Noises

Ringing of the alarm synthesized with cool winter breeze sweeping the glass window, trickling of water, mélange of chirping birds and chiming bells at a nearby temple, say its morning.

Ever wondered, these unspoken noises are so much a part of our life….so much like the voices. I realized this when I woke up at the middle of the night and was forced to play against the incomprehensible silence of these noises. Despite being droning and sometimes…

Does this work?

Who Am I?

Captured by the darkness; held,

whispered nightmares

screams, filled

by silver streams of dusty rays

racing after

those of the day.

Tears she cries; drift

slowly down

tracing rainbows

beauty from the ground

sorrow, drowned

colors, bound.

still we see her; bright

full and fair

did we ask her,

do we dare

happy is she, longing

to be free

Belongs to the night; assumed

slivers…

Hi all,

I've just added a couple of new pages to my site. One of these invites people to send their stories and poems in to be uploaded. I've already uploaded the prologue from the book I'm writing at present, but I'd really like to get some more up there.
