New Series: Italian Politics (The Billionaire's Affair)

Dear friends,

I'll have a new series out shortly and I'm in the process of reviewing the first book in the series. It'll be an exciting romantic story about Italian romance and Italian politics mixed into one!

Look for my first book of the series entitled "Scandal" in the near future and then please, please, please send me some feedback. I love to write but I need to know if you like what I write.

I am open to criticism whether it be positive or negative because writing…

The Lost One, Meg Collett (Review)

This is the second book of three. All I can say is WOW. I can't wait to see how this ends. In this book Michela is trying to come up with a plan to get back home. This series is just great, it keeps you on the edge of your seat and just guessing what is going to happen next. I find it hard to put these books down. I am almost done with the third book right now, so it is hard to write this review right now. I keep thinking what book did that happen in. =) Either way this series is a…

Dawnsinger a review

Dawnsinger is one of those books that draws you in and won’t let go. It is definitely allegorical but not to the extent that it becomes cliché. Shae, the heroine, is whisked away to the Faeraven by her brother Kai, in service to the dying queen. An epic adventure ensues – too much to go into detail here, but suffice to say that it embodies the quintessential struggle between good and evil. I will be reading the sequel Wayfarer as soon as I can get my hands on it. After about…

Divergent and other movies made from books

Last weekend the movie Divergent opened in theatres across North America, earning an impressive box office debut of $56 million. Since all authors dream of seeing their books turned into screenplays, we can give a collective "yay" for Veronica Roth, the 25-year-old Divergent author who incredibly wrote the book while she was still a student in university (when you got it, you got it)! Those involved in making the movie are now moving ahead with filming the second…

Book Review: ‘Beware of the White’ by Kai Strand

This middle-grade novel was an entertaining, delightful read!

Terra is a sweet, smart girl, very close to her mom, and not what one might call popular at school. In fact, she’s often a bit bullied at times. She also suffers in silence for the death of her dad years ago.

The action begins soon after Terra’s 12th birthday, when she receives an…
