article 1: how to play strong

you’ve got to play it real hard. if for instance, you find yourself alone, pray. you have to let some sufferings occur. you have to let loose, but still be cautious. you have to let those real tears flow in a moment. don’t let it wet your heart and drown you to death. it will never help.

you were born not because you were accidentally made. It was a plan. Things were prepared.…

OMG!!!

Oh dear me! I'm so overwhelmed. Happy... but darn do I have a lot to do. Before a month or so ago, I'd only heard about blogging on television but I figured it was something the popular kids were doing who already had a numerous amount of friends. But now, here I am, drowning in this new virtual reality of sorts, joining every network and group possible because I'm so excited about blogging I just can't help myself. Now I just need to chill out and find the time to do some serious reading...…

Words of a Journey

What a concept! And what a long overdue book is "Words of a Journey" written by Seventeen-year old Kaitlyn Kashman, a book that can only be described as "one with the soul."

In a way that only a seventeen year old can, Kaitlyn explores, discusses and asks questions that are as old as time but at the same time are new as the bud on a spring rose. She finds that some subjects are hard to discuss and for this reader at least, were hard to read, so raw they were in their honesty.

The other day I went to fill out job applications. I won't say where but I have to tell you about my experiences. The first place I went to the girl told me to be at the location at 9am to fill out an application. It was far to drive but I wanted to follow protocal. Did I have a professional Resume? Why yes I did. Did she ask for it or want it, nope. So, I filled out the application. As I was doing so, the young girl was chit chatting with either a… Continue

Who Knows In the Dark?

Who Knows In the Dark?

Sometimes deep in the night, I wake, I wonder, am I the child or the adult?

Am I the father, the son or the grandson?

Who am I?

What age lies upon my shoulders?

What responsibility blankets me?

What relationships entangle and caress me?

Do I answer to Billy, Bill, William, Dad, PopPop or husband?

In the dark, why can’t I tell who I am?

Is my life a dream?

Is my dream my life?

Is the wet spot on the bed the… Continue

Writing

Writing is something that I never thought I would be interested in. Yet, over the years various people have commented about my way with words... how I express my thoughts. Slowly several ideas have begun to emerge and are now coming into being. Book Blogs looks like just the place to learn more about what I am trying to do, the steps needed to get from A-Z.

I suffered a big set back in my writing venture, when my computer died... as well as the unit that could read my removable… Continue
