Reading with children around.

Half term and holidays always presents a challenge to parents when reading, none more so than single parents. New Books

Despite saying i have far too many books piled up waiting to be read, i bought another book today.

The new Ken Follett set in early 1900's. I told myself it would be good for research! Who am i kidding, i like his books and it was on offer- another reason for getting it now.

What i am currently reading

Tthe Captive Queen by Alison Weir. I am half way through this novel and so far its not my favourite of hers. I shall however reserve judgement unitl i have finished and give my verdict.

 

Elizabeth I fortunes bastard? by Richard Rex. This book i've only just started and since its a biography of her life it may be harder going than fiction.

Review of Discovery at Rosehill by Kathryn Brown

I have just read this book on my kindle in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. Being interested and having worked with Spirits for a while now i was fascinated by the descriptions used by the author. I was gripped by the multiple story lines and felt for amost all of the characters in the book. This book had me in tears, made me angry, and happy at varyious points throughout.

It describes a lady who is lead to bid on a house and land at auction only to discovery it has spirit guests.…
