I dreamed I was a warrior. I dreamed of battles, I dreamed of feats, I dreamed of lands unconquered.
I dreamed of a butterfly—soft, untouched—taking flight. Irregular flight.
I dreamed I was alive…and kicking.
I dreamed the world—my world—was perfectly round. I dreamed of friends. I dreamed I was ready for myself.
I dreamed I was bathing in a crystal clear mountain stream. I dreamed the trees were in communion—with a huge, flat,…Continue

When the Self is unknown the world arises, not when it is known. But you mistake the rope for the snake. When you see the rope, the snake vanishes.
Or, in other words…
As a child I used to live in a very big and [sometimes] creepy house. I remember I used to dread those nights when I got up thirsty at 3 A.M. and had to drag myself out of bed for a glass of water. While rushing by the TV…Continue
In Physics, a quantum leap can be defined as the discontinuous change of the state of an electron in an atom or molecule from one energy level to another. What this means is that the movement of an electron from one energy level to another is not gradual. After acquiring enough energy, the electron disappears in one level and reappears in another level. In other words, a quantum leap is a leap from A to B, without ever passing through any of the points between A and…Continue
I’ve been defeated. I’ve been brought to my knees. I feel weak. Just as I thought I had it all figured out. Just as I thought I had all the puzzle pieces in place. Swoosh. The rug is once again pulled out from under my feet. I know. It’s happened many times before. But I forget. I always forget. Hmm. Convenient. Every time it happens, feels like the very first time. But then I remember. And it only makes it worse.
You have shed blood for that person. You’ve given them all…Continue
Children are wise. Children are filled with bliss. Children have no need for conjectures. Children simply respond. Children are like wild animals. Always in the right place at the right time. Always landing on the right tree. Always knowing when to take flight. Always knowing what to do when the moment is ripe.
Children are wise. Children are wise, but naïve. Children are wise, but don’t know it. Children are wise, but in their wisdom awareness sleeps…

Inspiration is indeed a funny thing. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. But when it comes, it is like a warm feeling, it is almost an enthusiasm. And it always, always surprises you. Inspiration comes when you surrender to your own nothingness. It takes you over and you only become aware of what has hit you after it is gone….
And I have found that a very easy and effective way to surrender to my own nothingness is to meditate. Hmm. Meditation. Ouch.…Continue

Psychology can be loosely understood as the study of how thoughts interfere in people’s behavior. So here’s a bit of psychology for you.
The thoughts that cause people most problems are those related with survival and safety. In fact, we will attach ourselves to even the most negative thoughts if we believe they are needed for…Continue

Who is Ron Wyn? Please tell us about yourself.
Having formally plunged into the depths of scientific and psychological abstractions, I have both sides of the brain covered. Primarily a man of thought, my systematic mind insisted on a skeptical approach to life, a because-I-have-seen-I-believe modus operandi, but my troubled relationships ended up leading me to a path of action that opened my heart to new and exciting inner…Continue

In the beginning…
Mind creates. That’s basically what it does. That’s its basic function. Mind is a creative machine.
Before long, we meet mind. As our instrument. We let it do its thing. We’re too busy, innocently having fun in the here and now.
With the help of the senses, mind perceives, substantiates, calls a spade a spade. It then moves on to cognition and interprets sensory perception. Mind thus…Continue
