This is a blog post about 'The Twelve.' We've almost forgotten about the 'blockbuster' that was 'The Passage.' The second one will be out in October. I'm going to read it, even though the first bitterly disappointed me. http://devilintheflesh.net/2012/04/13/283/…

Yup, I review the big man's new book. It's more of a grovelling than a review, but I think you might enjoy it all the same.

I review the extreme horror novel Population Zero, by Wrath James White, who is not only a writer but a martial artist as well. This book is not for the faint-hearted, so take heed!

I blog about the cats of my childhood, a siamese and a tabby. One was pretty bad-ass.

I review the little known Matthew Bright film Ted Bundy, which chronicles Bundy's crimes and his execution. It's a lively and irreverent little film, and I enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting much.

I blog about the cult movie Faces of Death, and how it helped engender a central phobia of mine.

I blog about the new season of Dexter, the first episode of which I saw a few hours ago. Also, I talk about why Dexter is so successful.

A review and remembrance of a book I first read as a little boy in a mall bookstore. I was young and and it did not go well. Have a read and laugh at my temerity.

When I was young, I tried to read an extreme horror novel called The Beast Within, by Edward Levy. This is both a book review and horror remembrance.

A post about why Charlie Sheen is not a regular human being, and perhaps why rules don't apply to him.

This is a story of how I was a jerky teenager. It involves a girl, a lot of booze, and a horror movie that somehow came in and ruined everything in fine fashion. Give it a read. Warning: this is not a sentimental post. Not at all.

In which I discuss how I ordered a monster from an ad I saw in the back of my comic book. Do I need to say I was very young at the time? Please have a read, if only to see a few of the ridiculous mail-order ads that were around in the late seventies and early eighties.

Yes, I went there. I'm a bit of a pinko. I just did a blogpost on Troy Davis, and I bring up some things you might not like. But give it a read anyway and tell me you agree, or that I'm full of it.

When I was a kid, I went to see the movie version of The Twilight Zone. There was a scene that frightened the pants off me, but when I was older I found out that... well, read on. Suffice to say, I was a naive little boy.
