I don't generally do this on my everyday blog...but I always enjoy reading everyone else's monthly updates. Thought it might be fun. Though I'm afraid April was a might sparse month. Oh well...leaves lots of room for improvement for May, right?

Short stories read:
*"The Fog Horn" by Ray Bradbury (for the Short Story Reading Challenge, but I haven't written a review yet)

Picture Books read:
*Ready, Set, School! by Jacquelyn Mitchard
*Tom Cat by Susi Bohdal

Kid and YA books read:
*100 Cupboards by N.D. Wilson (for Once Upon a Time II Challenge, Initials Challenge, Numbers Challenge, and because the cover was just too cool to resist)
*Emily's Runaway Imagination by Beverly Cleary (for Celebrate the Author Challenge, and as a read-aloud to the boys)
*Enna Burning by Shannon Hale (wow...just because)

Homeschool reads:
*The Human Lifecycle by Rufus Bellamy
*The Endocrine and Reproductive Systems by Melissa L. Kim
*To Be a Slave by Julius Lester

Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll have another to add by the end of the day. Yeah right, who am I kidding?!!

I'm looking forward to your review of that Bradbury short story!

Tricia,
I really hope you enjoy Enna Burning! I did, but not quite as much as The Goose Girl. I might be in the minority on that one though.

Hey, I'm impressed. I've got Enna Burning on my list of books to read soon. I'm hoping to get to it for Carl's Once Upon a Time Challenge.
