Here is another contest, that is connected around My Friend's Amy's Book Blog Appreciation Week.
What a week it is going to be. Here is another contest I learned about today. Now, it is up to three. This is going to be a busy week. I used to say, so many books, not enough time. Or so many blogs not enought time. Now here is the winner, so many book blogging contests, not enough time. I feel sorry for all of you have small children. It is easy to get wrapped up in all this. I feel sorry for all of you who have small children. Luckily, my son is 18 and I am widowed.
I don't have any responsibilities.
My blog is going to be filled up this week. I am going to be a busy beaver. I should be studying for my test on Wednesday, Medical Terminology.
But, I can't help myself all these great contests and prizes.
I still have to read the book Run, for September, Bookclubgirl's, Blog Talk Radio, Everyday I write the Book, and also for Book Club Girls, Book Club Radio we are reading this simultaneoully.
Everyday is the day before, blog talk radio.

Listed below is the information on RUN on book club girl's book site.
What is great about this is the author is invited to the book blog radio.
Don't forget that next Wednesday, September 24th is the live conversation with Ann Patchett about her New York Times bestselling novel Run. Everyone is welcome to participate in the discussion, whether by calling in to the show which starts at 7 pm EST or by sending in questions via the chat on the Authors on Air station. Set your reminder for the show here. Return to that same link to listen to the show on the 24th. Call Ann with your questions at (347) 945-6149. Questions? Post a comment here or email me at bookclubgirl AT gmail DOT com. Hope to hear from you next Wednesday night!
You should check out Book Club Girl's, blog talk radio. She has great shows and author's monthly. The last book we read was The Madonna's of Leningrad. I just loved that book.
As you can see at my other post a couple of weeks ago. I really loved it.

I would like to mention bookclubgirl.com. She is having a contest to win mousepads in anticipation of a re-issue of a play called, In The Prime of Miss Brodie. The information will be listed below.

Bcg_mousepad_pic_2Announcing day one of a week of my own giveaways on Book Club Girl in celebration of Book Blogger Appreciation Week! I've been waiting for the appropriate time to debut these fabulous new mousepads and BBAW seems like just the right time! The artwork you see is from the original edition of the classic play by Muriel Spark, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. This art will appear on an upcoming reissue of the book, which is one of my favorite plays and movies. The quote on the book is one of my favorites from Betty Smith's classic A Tree Grows in Brooklyn -- "The world was hers for the reading." I'm sorry it doesn't look bigger here, if you double click on it, you can see it in all its glory.

Every day this week I will give away 10 mousepads to 10 lucky winners! How to win? For day one, I want to know what books your book group has read this past year. Send me a comment that lists at least 6 of the books your group read in the last year (feel free to list more than that if you'd like!). Blog about this contest and post that link and you'll automatically have 2 entries into the random drawing.
