I read 8.5 novels in April - all fiction - with an average rating of 4.4, and a total of 2642 pages (average of 330 pages per novel). My favorite read of the month was a tie between The Cellist of Sarajevo and Angle of Repose. All of the books read this month were by authors new to me, EXCEPT for Sue Miller. In addition to my novel reading, I also completed a short story by Haruki Murakumi.
