I haven't received official conformation yet, but it appears the paperback edition of Blowing Hot and Cold is now generally on release. All the signs are there - suddenly available from various different sellers on Amazon, and the availability suddenly goes all to pot from Amazon itself - a wait of one to two months, according to amazon.com, which I don't believe for a moment. The important thing is that it can now be bought online from a number of different retailers, and from your local bookshop.
The next big milestone is the completion and release of Strange Attractor. It's slipped from an intended March publication date, and now I'm optimistically looking at August, if I keep a tight reign on the absolutely final, absolutely no-more-revisions, absolutely this-is-it final draft. At the same time, it's spring, and the sun is shining, and I'm thinking I could be outside in the fresh air rather than staring at a screen and getting a sore head. We'll see how it goes. Creativity is a funny thing: it comes and goes, as does the creative incentive of the finished work. Sometimes it needs a fallow period to gestate, and gather momentum for the final push to the finish. Or maybe I'm just farting around and putting off the prospect of all that hard work.
It'll get there, I'm sure.
