Choosing a book cover

Could a simple process be more agonizing?  I want a simple cover - more white than words or color. The title (Dirt) pretty much says it all so I don't think it needs clutter. I thought it would be simple, but not so. I am down to three choices and it hasn't gotten any easier. Since this is a YA/adult book I wanted the cover to appeal to both genres.

Has anyone else out there had a difficult time choosing your book cover?
