*Spoilers alert! Read the first book: Death by bikini!*

Coffee can kill.

Aphra's life have changed ever since Seth appeared in her peaceful beach resort life with her father. Now, she had known that her mother is in Seattle, Aphra is determined to have a happy reunion. Unfortunately, she had lied to her father about her plans. She thought that a lie wouldn't hurt, but what she found in Seattle wasn't what she expected either.

Firstly, Aphra's mother was stumped to see Aphra again and her mother's partner insisted that Aphra leave for home as soon as possible. Without the happy reunion, Aphra felt disappointed but what disappointed her even further was Seth. The charming lad she had gone through thick and thin on the island had demanded the return of the ring he had given her a few weeks ago. This had devasted Aphra but at least Ryan the friendly neighbour was more sympathetic on her.

Trouble finally broke out when Joe, the partner of Aphra's mother, died after sipping a cup of latte. Joe muttered a few incoherent last words to Aphra before losing conscoiusness. Now Aphra and her mother are on the run again and danger is not far behind. Seth's appearance had further complicated things and messed Aphra's feelings up. Soon, the threesome are caught in a web of lies that might be too hard to untangle. Could Aphra escape safe once again? Did Seth really had feelings for Aphra at all?

The second series in the Death by bikini series. More action and suspence is pumped into this sequel and readers might find things going a bit fast. The book would nevertheless hook readers to the last page until Aphra and her mother along with Seth find their way to freedom. Unfortunately, the action doesn't end here! The next sequel is followed by death by denium which is released in May 2009. Don't miss it!
