Dystopian literature is one of the most hyped up things at the moment. Wouldn't you agree? Before getting my hands on Delirium I had read The Hunger Games, Divergent and Matched so I was sceptical about reading delirium for the simple fact that I was at a point that I thought "if you read one, you've read them all" type of things. But I was desperate for a book one day as I was walking thru chapters and I had read amazing reviews so I figured might as well give in. I am kicking myself for ever doubting this GREAT read! It is comparable to hunger games and Divergent with the whole futuristic society aspect but that's about where it ends. This story has one aspect that I've never heard of in ANY book.. this society is against love. They make you get procedure that makes you incapable of falling in love. How insane is that? NO love AT ALL? The story is so well written and I absolutely LOVED the characters and I'm pretty sure this book is in my top 5 for cliffhanger ending. Holly crap it was insane! I could NOT put this book down and finished it in 2 days.And the character development is probably one of the best I've read yet.I would recommend this book for anyone 14 and over :) Happy reading! :)
