Hi Folks, I'm Richard "Dick" Kraemer a Inde author. I had just published Dyslexic Dick - True Adventures of My World is a true autobiography of a boy growing up in Highland Mills, a small town in upstate New York that starts in the mid 1960’s. Dick, unaware of his dyslexia, goes through his young life thinking that stupidity is the cause of his illiteracy. After a series of psychological testing his parents discover that Dick is dyslexic, but decided to keep it a secret from him and the rest of the family. The reasons for the learning disability concealment by his parents was that there was not a cure, the psychologist said he would grow out of it, and because his younger sister was determined to be mentally disabled at the time. In order to hide his shortcomings Dick becomes a loner and defiant. During his life’s journey as a juvenile, Dick experiences many exciting adventures to adulthood. This story often humorous, sometimes dramatic and emotional reveals the struggle of a boy as he reaches the threshold of manhood.
