The Roots of My Obsession by Thomas C. Cooper was a delightful mix of short pieces submitted by thirty of the world's most famous contemporary gardeners. It was a chance to look inside their own gardens and gardening experiences that have helped to shape their ideas and philosophies.  I found the selections both informative and delightful. Most importantly I was so intrigued after being introduced to these wonderful gardeners that I found myself wanting to know more about each of them. I couldn't resist researching their websites and publications for more information.
