I have nightmares about my technical inabilities. My good friend Mary Ann sent me this link for Book Blogs because like everyone else she felt I needed a boost in the right direction. So now I am here, and I am wishing there was a GPS for sites, the one in my car NEEDS to talk to me or I pull over. My brother finds this hilarious, but I swear if they came out with a GPS that pointed a finger at which corner to turn I would run out and buy it.

I am newly published with Tate publishing and have been looking for ways to market my book and the internet is the the only solid way to go (shudder). When I first sent off my manuscript via e-file I made a few mistakes, yes I amused my editor and such later but not in the beginning I assure you.

My books Soul Mates reflects a lot of my own mindset. Though thankfully I am not dead as most of my characters are, they are ghosts. It is geared towards teens and young adults, but ask any adult and they will tell you that a part of them still feels fifteen or sixteen. I tell this to my sixteen year old and he just stares at me. Hard to tell a teenager that the hopes and dreams really don't die as we age, we become more practical but the feelings live on.

Which is why I wanted to write this story about Nicholas, who died in the early 1900's and is trapped in the after world called the Plexus, where a small select group of souls protect the living from angry or evil souls that haunt and harm the living,  Nicholas is an angry young man who is trying to understand how he came to the end of one life and began another, due to a betrayal.

Nicholas has closed himself off and will allow no one to come close to him. In the Plexus this is quite difficult for as time rolls on new souls are added to the Presence the group of souls that are split into two sides, Tracers, which Nicholas is from and Hailites which his new partner, Bonnie is from. Both sides do not see eye to eye when it comes to their jobs but they are yin and yang and must work together. Strangely Bonnie steals Nicholas' heart as no other has in a century, though she comes from a different time frame.

Nicholas must struggle to heal old wounds lay aside old prejudices and except himself for who he is, and who Bonnie is, who did I mention gets lost ALL the time?
