I know you - someone understands the secret you

I see you. Hiding there. You think there is no one like you, no one that understands, no one that imagines what you imagine, embarrassed by your fantasies, feeling guilty about the thoughts you think. Your mind goes on journeys, far, far away. You know I'm talking about you, the married man, the happy family man, entertaining those impulses. I see you, Mr. minister, thinking that your exuberance for God, whom you try desperately to follow, will save you. You do things that are leading you farther down the road to escalation, to execution of your deviant fantasies. You've heard the tale of two dogs, one evil and one good, both fighting for survival inside of you. Which dog wins? The one you feed. The one you take care of.

Your hiding your habits from your spouse, your kids, your preacher, your associations, from your employees and partners, worried sick that you will be found out. How many times have you come close to being discovered? You know the feeling, scared out of your mind, thinking that they know, and then, the relief when you found out they meant something else. Now that I have your attention, stop it! Stop it before it's too late.

You don't have to follow that impulse, that desire. I know, it's not that easy is it? It turns like snakes in your stomach, the desire, the impulse to do that which you despise and yet crave, that which will rob you of your freedom, your life. Listen to me, stop fidgeting, here is the solution. Walk away, run away, get far away from that situation. Don't put yourself there, anywhere near there. Stop calling her (him), stop hanging around them (it).

I know, it's not possible for you to stop is it? Then please, please, do not harm anyone...I know your fighting it, I know you want it. I know how easy it is to follow your urge, your lust. Come aside from it, brother, sister, I know you. Please don't do it. Put away that thing your holding. Your hate. Your sorrow. Your anger. Your bitterness. Your shame. Put them away. I've done it, you can to. There is a way out.
