I HAVE  LIVED in Ithaca, NY for many years now, and so have writers like Diane Ackerman, Alison Lurie. Jeanne Mackin, and Stephen Poleskie. There are many other writers who live in and around Ithaca. Two of the NY Times 10 Best Books of 2011 were written by Ithaca residents Eleanor Henderson and Tea Obrecht.
