I have completed writing my first novella, Moorehead Manor. It's in the teen, horror genre. I've given it over to my editor to read, but am thinking about putting it out there as a first draft, posted for the sake of critiques. It involves three teenagers, a house with a terrible secret, a cold case file and one very evil ghost that has a secret of its own. It takes place in the little town of Wallace, Louisiana.

It is possible to get a free listing on Amazon without joining their select program. I got one of my short stories free using their price matching feature. First you need to get your story free at Barnes & Noble and Kobo. I did this by using Smashwords and pricing the story for free. Once it is listed through their premium catalog and appears at B&N and Kobo get a group of people to go into Amazon and report the lower price for your story using the links to B&N and Kobo. After enough people have reported it they will price match. The author can't do it alone, they will ignore repeated reports from the same user/ip. Hope this helps.

I should preface - this isn't my first work. I had written a very short story about two little old ladies that murder Justin Bieber. It's a dark comedy called, "Murder at Shady Oaks Senior Estates: The Demise of Justin Bieber". I put it out on Amazon, lulu, iBookstore, ect. I wish Amazon let you list things for free, because I want to put my horror story out there for anyone to read free of charge.
