new books today
Today's mail brought four new books (okay, not exactly new, but new to me):
The Good Parents, by Joan London
Darling Jim, by Christian Moerk (oh wait! That one IS new)
Artist of the Floating World, by Kazuo Ishiguro
and
The Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes, edited by Sebastian Wolfe.
I'm still working on The Mammoth Book of Perfect Crimes and Impossible Mysteries, edited by Mike Ashley -- my review will be coming shortly.
For some reasons, it takes me longer to read a book of short stories than a regular book, even if the regular book has more pages. I can't figure this one out. I'll be back when I've finished the current read.
