Animal Farm by George Orwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is truly an amazing book!I love how the story throughout the book is a metaphor for the rising of communism at the time. The way in which it is written is great! For the reason that it is actually a children's book, and it has to be written simply in order for younger ages to understand, any person above the ages of 14 while enjoy the book. This book has a great deal of thought put into it, which then forces the reader to also think. It is not the type of book to just be blah blah blah; this is the story, whatever. But it is the type of book that once you have read it, as the reader, you come out of it with a moral lesson, a life lesson and a new outlook on the things around you, and the way things work. Especially, it brings into focus the hunger for power. Though everyone in the world wants peace and equality, for the very reasons that is stated in the book, that will not be achieved. Someone, or a group of people will always want power, and this book is really good in bringing that fact forward. All in all, it is an amazing book, and once you pick it up, honestly, you do not want to put it down!
