"On the Edge of Scared" - Prologue....see what you think....

Slithering into her head yet again are the weird feelings she lives with almost every time she wakes up - out of breath, her long auburn hair soaking from the sweat. As she plants her feet on the floor to steady herself before she gets up, she closes her eyes to try and remember even a piece of her just lived nightmare. Nothing, she remembers nothing as both fists hit the side of the bed in anger…just that it leaves her on the edge of scared. No one else, but Landry controls Landry’s world, whether it’s on Earth or where ever God forsaken place it is she goes at night. She has got to find out who is always with her on her nightly sleuthing. Maybe that’s the first key…a piece at a time to unwind the otherworldly journeys she takes with this unknown boy. Surprised…she gasps and looks up…she has the first piece. She’s with a boy, but who is he?

Hi SJ,

I'm new to book blogs but saw your request and wanted to answer.  First of all, your writing is great, so don't worry about that.  Have you considered experimenting with first person point of view?  It would create an intimacy with Landry that would suck the reader into what's already an interesting read.  It's just a suggestion that I hope you find useful.
