REVIEW: Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah

My sister, Becky, gave my mom, my aunt, and me all Firefly Lane at Christmas time and I finished it a couple of weeks ago with tears in my eyes. The story follows two best friends, Tully Heart and Kate Mularkey, through their lifelong journey together; starting in the 70's and ends at the present time. There are some great times that the two friends have together and some tear-jerking hardships that they must work through. The story has a lot of focus not only on friendship but the importance of family as well.

I enjoyed this story because there was so much that I could, and I think every woman could relate to. It made me reflect on how fortunate I am to have the strong relationship that I have with my best friend and my family.
