 There’s something very strange about The Stone, an unknown mass floating near the Earth’s orbit:  it’s much longer on the inside than it is on the outside. Even more bizarre, there’s a huge, abandoned city inside, with an interactive library documenting a nuclear war in the near future. Gary Lanier and an international team of scientists must figure out the secret to the stone and a way to stop the war before it’s too late.
