Right about now I'm trying to decide what project to dive into.

There are so many stories flitting around in my mind, I can't seem to focus properly on any single one of them. I must sit when I get a moment and reflect on what I must get done first.

I still have to finish the final edits on The Shadow Runners, and continue with Mark of the Condemned and Legacy of the Gildan. That will be my first writing priority this year. I want to send them off to publishers and see if anyone is interested. I should have gotten to that stage last year, but I didn't. This year, no excuses. The Andaman Series is going to do the rounds of the publishers.

My editing is still capturing my interest and I've been reading some very interesting novels lately. I can't wait to see them published.

On the Art horizon, I've just agreed to do another exhibition this year. This one is in aid of the Victorian Bushfire Victims. No profit in it for me, but hopefully a decent amount will be raised for the people who've lost so much.

The only problem is... I have no paintings here right now. They're all still out on display. I'll have to do a whole batch of new ones. I hope my inks have survived all that hot weather. They were stored in the caravan all summer because it was too hot to paint and we have no room in the house to store my art supplies. If it got to 45 degrees Celsius outside, I can't imagine what it was like in the van. I'm almost too scared to take a look. They're expensive to replace. Fingers crossed.

Even blogging is procrastinating to some degree. So... Off I go to check my inks and then sit down with a nice cup of coffee to finish editing the novel I'm half way through.

Cheers for now

Brittany K.

Thanks. My inks did survive & I've already finished 2 small paintings. I have to do 8 large ones for the exhibition. Yikes. Scary.

Hi! I envy people like you with artistic talents. I can 'see' the image and can envision it but somewhere between the brain and my hands, it gets lost. Good luck!
