Now that I have finished Rod's book, I have just started reading Alan Garner's 1967 classic THE OWL SERVICE.

I have fond memories of watching the TV series back in 1969, when it was shown every Sunday teatime. Never read the book, though, until now. I will let you all know what I thought of it once I've read it.
