The Power of Sacred Motherhood in Fiction and Art

I write novels about strong and powerful women. The women, however, are not ‘mannish’ in the slightest. These are women in charge of their femininity and understand the value and strength found in being ‘Woman’.

My novel “Women Lost In War” has a great synopsis on the back cover:

“A woman exists always, but a mother is made only the moment her baby is born.”

Certainly, I create strong, vibrant and beautiful female characters because that is what is within my heart. I like the feminine. This not in just an artistic, nor even simply as behavior just as a man, but rather as deep part of the balance of life. I find women compelling far beyond the crude fabric of sexuality.

I also do a bit of photography and found that I’m rather good at maternity pictures. I’ve written about the value of motherhood, and found a dynamic beauty when a woman balances pregnancy with her natural feminine muse.

This particular Maternity Tunic made for some lovely pictures (for my client’s eyes only). However, I am very pleased when I find something that lets an expecting mother ALSO feel like prowess, vibrancy, sexy in her female beauty – especially when creating life.

I often use use www.cuteredshoes.com because it has the largest selection of shoes in the world. However, I found when I scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the home page, they also have a HUGE selection of clothing in red. Well, red means passion. This is where I found the maternity dress. I like it when my life comes together as an artist and writer.
