My arm was surging with blood, they had changed. Their eyes were red & black. With fangs braced they started stunning me still…
My feet would not dare me to move; all that was left was to wait. Heath lunged forward. But nothing hit, I opened my eyes to see just inches from my stone like body, heath & Dylan interlocked brawling. Heath struggled for me, but Dylan fighting his trance blocking his path.
A pool of blood was forming at my feet, I had to stop the raging stream flowing down, and the bleeding had to stop. I knew I had to do something and fast. I couldn’t watch Dylan have to protect me much longer. Knowing I was useless was the worst thing in the world. Why couldn’t I be like him, be with him forever, that was the moment I decided.
If it’s the last thing I do, I would become a vampire…

Is this book out yet? I ask because I have a blog centering on vampire and other paranormal fiction.
