The Presence of God is a land spread out before me to claim all that I am, ever was, or ever will be. It is a meadow of thought like the blessing green. It is a place, a secret space of Ours alone, where mercy falls like rain. Where the Son and everything He has to shed Light upon becomes my only border. And His arms...and His eyes--they are my only hope. Within His smile lies my only desired future.
It is my one true prayer. I hear it held within the hushed confines of my endless heart. I pray that He will be there when I am done. Because...does anything else really matter?
He is my One True Love. In His Presence, we talk to each other. What a beautiful language it is to pray....
This was my meditation, or my inner thoughts, when in God's Presence recently. What is your "alone time" with God the Father, or with Jesus His son, like?

So often, we only spend time with God when we have the time. In other words, we don't take the time, or give the Lord of our life the highest priority. I think about that phrase, "the Lord of my Life," and realize that I don't give Him Lordship over practical things, such as my schedule, my health, my diet (what I eat), my entertainment, and so on. I give Him leadership over my Spirit, of course, and over the spiritual part and mostly the moral part of my soul, but over my body? Over my practical existence? Not nearly as much. Perhaps this is the very reason why I haven't been experiencing as much of His Presence as I would like.
I find a pattern to these revelations. It's very rarely us waiting on God. It's usually Him waiting on us, waiting for us to realize something we have head knowledge of, something we've heard flippanly, but don't know, deep down, for ourselves yet. And again, He rewards me with not only a higher, deeper, closer level of His Presence, but with His overwhelming example of love and patience. For me.
Beautiful, Shadoew Rose:) How do we bring more of His Presence into the "natural", or earthly life? He is all around, and within. His creation is not only around us if we open the eyes and the heart that He gave us; it IS us. Why do we miss Him so much here?
Granted, it is a fallen world. Billy Graham once said that he had to "make peace with the fact that even Jesus left it (the world) this way." I know it is a test, this form of existence, and if we choose Him, we will spend eternity with Him. But still I am Homesick, for the face, the smile, and the actual touch of God.

The reality of life. Not the one which is visible, but the one invisible. Spirit life, which is supreme over the fleshly house we are encased within. Life in the form in which Christ died to provide. The abundance of spirit life, which elevates the natural to a higher conscious of being.
