Thanks for the comment Jean. Gibbee is a fascinating and original concept! One of mine would be Steinbeck's To a God Unknown. Another would be George MacDonald's Lility and his Unspoken Sermons. And...for a more modern one - Prayer for Owen Meany by John Iriving. (loved it so much I named my son Owen, despite the fact that this makes him Owen Wilson)

Thank you for your welcoming thoughts!  I just checked out your blog and I love the idea of Gibbee!  I would have to say mine was Rebecca....which is still to this day, my favorite book of all time.  I didn't mean to read it even....just wanted to bulk up on Accelerated Reader points in 8th grade and thought this would get me ahead of the pack.  Who would have known it would have turned into my....Gibbee!  I am now following your blog!
