Oh, sorry. The blurb and the title gave me that impression, that it was about vampires. My bad, I guess. That taste thing reminded me of Zero drinking Yuuki's blood and thus tasting her feelings. Or something along the lines. I never got to read the manga though. When I watched the anime it was still ongoing and I only read finished ones. Anyways, sorry for making assumptions without checking. :)
