Classy cover art, Kate. I did my own and it was kind of a PIA. Literally cut and pasted it and bought some elcheapo nail polish to draw in the blood. Got a file/jpeg of that at Fedex for a few bucks and then refined it in Windows Paint. Lot of time spent doing that, believe me. Not nearly so nice as yours either for all of that. A friend sent me the text in a font that he had on a Mac program he had bought. I could not be sure how many times I ended up at Fedex/kinkos butit had to be some 8 times at least.
Thanks Kate. I am sorry it took me so long to answer you but I'm just seeing

That's so much for the warm welcome. Once I find my way around here, I'll participate more. Took a look at your book; looks like something my students would be interested in! Thanks again for the welcome!

Thanks, Kate, and congrats on your book. I had a short story published by Dark Moon. I've got two books out by Copperhill Media, a third due out this year. I'm working on the 5th in series, and trying to get my frist self-pubed ready to become an ebook, eventually.
Thanks for the welcome Kate. I look forward to conversing with you as I am a YA fantasy writer as well. I've just completed my first novel and am doing the final edit/re-write. As soon as I get it finished I'll probably be in touch for some advice.
Thank you for your welcome! Your book sounds intriguing and in my fav genre. I'll definitely check it out and make sure to post a review when I'm done. (Great book description by the way!) I have also just released my debut book - Blue Violet. (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009084KV8).
Kate, I first saw your book trailer on Emma Daley's Propheticus blog and knew that it would be one I would read. I was so excited when I saw your welcome to book blogs, thanks for that! I look forward to following you in the future.
