There's this unsettling rumour about Google Friend Connect being taken away for anyone not using Blogger..but I'm not sure of the details of it. Apparently, if you're using Blogger, you should be fine :/

It's up to your own personal preference which one you like to read off of. They're both good for reading new posts. I read the most off of my GFC-ed blogs because I always go to my Dashboard, and the posts would be just below, so it's convenient :) Also, almost all blogger blogs should have GFC, but not all have NetworkedBlogs, so GFC tends to be the way people connect.

However, providing many ways of letting people follow you is good because everyone has their own favourite way of following, so you can cater to more readers if you provide them with a selection :)
