Thank you ever so much for your kind welcome, to be honest I have never reviewed a book before and at the moment still finding my feet here.

I am happy to provide electronic copies of my books though if you would care to review them on your site. I also am happy to do interviews and guest spots.

I will definitely check it out and appreciate the welcome. We have received 5-star  reviews by several Reader's Favorite reviewers and our book, Slapped By Injustice, was a finalist in the category of Realistic Fiction this past fall. 

The sequel to our first book The Compton Connection will be out in early 2013. We would love to have reviews and I am interested in reviewing other people's works.

I am not a reviewer, but I -DO- supply (electronic) review copies of my books to anyone interested. I have a fantasy trilogy (suitable for older teens and adults) a space opera series of five books (under the pen name K.J. Blaine) and a series of interactive Kindle books for girls (mermaid fantasy).

I also respond to interview requests as long as the interviewer supplies the questions in advance and allows me to skip anything I deem irrelevant or inappropriate.

I admit that I do find this website confusing and have been overwhelmed with posts! I may even have responded to some people more than once and for that I apologize. I'm looking for reviewers of my book The Haunting of M.E. This is a ghost story set in Algonquin Park in northern Ontario. The book is for junior readers aged 10-12 and is VERY family friendly. Kelli; Although I'm honoured that you have considered me as a qualified book reviewer BUT let me assure you I'm not a reviewer in any stretch of the imagination. It wouldn't be fair to the author who's invested so much time & effort for me to judgmental in either a positive or negative way. I'm a documentary filmmaker who's just finished writing a non-fiction book of some of my most exciting & far-flung adventures over 35 years and I think I should just leave it at that. Hi Kellie, thanks for the comment. I'm not a great writer, and would definitely hesitate to offer to work on reviews to your site - not too sure I'll be much help there.

However - I am a pretty good programmer and designer... and I've been working on a ad sharing network for book blogs to help increase readership. I'm looking for beta partners to help me launch the service - would you be interested? I'd love to design a custom button/ad for you (which would then get displayed on other book blog sites).

Hello, Kelli,

I've asked the panel several times to help me with placing my books on the site, but all I've received is requests for me to follow their blogs. While I have every intention of reading other writer's blogs, this still hasn't answered my question.

I'm beginning to wonder if all this 'following' is a waste of time and merely a means to gather some sort of popularity among members.

I had assumed that the main purpose of us all (writers) is to get more sales of our books and that the social aspect of this site and others is, however pleasant, secondary to our purpose.

Can you tell me if any of this 'socialising' has made any difference to any writer's sales? Is there some sort of indicator that proves that this stuff actually works?

I might seem harsh and cold-hearted, but I need to know whether all the time spent away from my 'proper' writing is worth the candle.

At the moment I can't take on a blog I'm afraid. I just published for the first time and am trying to get my own blog running, I have a new Facebook page and am new here, I've joined Author Central... I'll get used to juggling it all, but it does take time. So I won't take more on at the moment; maybe in future.

Meanwhile I'm finding my way around the site OK, bit by bit. Thanks for the offer though, I'll let you know if I struggle. Cheers
